Who is Niira Radia?

She married with UK businessman of Gujrati origin Janak Radia. They divorced soon. Nira started her career in liaison with Sahara. That shows her accessibility level with politicians, corporates and beauracrats.

The company Vaishnavi CCPL is as expected shelved now. Surprisingly their website shows that it is under construction.

The other company Neosis Strategic Consulting Services is also shelved out and their website is no more. You can read the team profile, our Radia has been an entrpreneur for 25 years

So what is she upto now?

Radia comes out of oblivion .. she's back with another firm..but certainly away from publicity..this one is in consultancy [one most abused term in the world :)]

From no angle it seemed to me a
geniune consulting firm..or may be they are still developing it as they have safely put on top left corner that this website is also under construction.

Worst of all there are no career options :O.. I wanted to see the careers section ;P

I dont know if this new business of hers rakes any moolah for her ..but it will definitely help her to use the loads of cash stashed in Swiss banks.. for the records she has the highest account balance..more than Rajiv Gandhi :O

Discovered this word after a wiki search on bribery.

For the last few days bribery has been a buzz word for me. Whatever the topic be, whoever it be with whom I talk..this has been one common thing featuring everywhere...One thing I've realized is that government officials are the most prospering ones owing to this omnipresent phenomena..Any department we take.. everywhere there is a huge scope for corruption....for ex: municipal corporations(for every damn approval they charge hefty amounts),airport customs, traffic police...all of them are minting money....


There is an interesting aspect of Bribe.


Bribe is one thing which can be both a Capex as well as an Opex. It is more painful as an Opex.
It has a long value chain of its own..comprised of government officials of all ranks, goons, media, sometimes even locals..While I was searching for bribery on web, found this interesting pic..so felt like sharing

I am tired of running!

These days I've been busy running around government offices. As expected the laidback responses by people and multiple levels of hierarchy really sucked me. Today I was at the sub registrar office for getting EC (Encumbrance certificate) and was pleasantly surprised to see SLAs (Service level agreements) defined for each of the services.

Thanks to E-Goverance being implemented, now things happen in a jiffy.

The catch here is that the SLA applies only after you submit your document, and to do that one there needs to be a person sitting at the receiving end, who on most of the ocasions will be enjoying extended breaks or will be indulging in some petty discussions with colleagues.

What's wrong with Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu?.
I was shocked when I saw this video. Do check the video after 3:00 for the shocking part. In this video you can see our babu raising his hand on a tribal woman to silent her and hitting another woman to grab mike from her. Hitting someone is socially unacceptable and that too by a person of such status is strongly condemnable. In front of a huge crowd someone can do such an ugly thing, wondering to what level these guys will degrade behind the screens.

Dear Babu,

I hope you realize that it is a very shameful act and you better  apologize for the same. I've always had some respect towards you for your vision and execution of plans. The way you lead the transformation of Hyderabad from a normal metro to a global hub for IT jobs. But following the recent happenings and this incident all that respect I had towards you is no more.

A leader should maintain his cool even at trying times and you've failed at that.
May be it is true that the real character of a person is known during bad times.

Reservations for minorities in IITs and IIMs

Huh!..after more than 50yrs of independence its strange to see ppl deciding to whom reservation has to be given. Its high time they cut down all existing reservations.. the SC and ST reservation which they have been enjoying for the past 50yrs!
Why don’t the politicians understand the consequences of the reservations.. They dont think who is going to get benefited finally... their main concern is vote bank...
The whole funda of reservation is to see that the deprived, economically weak people get a chance to come up in life... Its not the time to uplift socially backward people.. if at all there exists something of that kind then educate people to come out these superstitions...they say they have given SC and ST reservations so that ppl in rural and tribal areas come up in life. but what are we seeing ppl who are economically strong and living in cities are getting benefited cos of that.... and they are who actually don’t need ... What is the fun in giving the reservation and not educating the ppl who are actually backward to avail of those ....
I feel at least in top colleges of India like IIM and IITs there should not be any reservations. …come on.. these institutes hard earned reputation is all because of the quality of the students who get in. If they have to encourage the so called socially backward people  .. first they have to create awareness among them about the reservations and career options ..and at the max they should provide financial assistance ..not a seat in these institutes.. cos there are lakhs who are fighting for a seat and some one gets a preference just because he/she is from a recognized tribe/caste/minority......
Muslim community which is treated a minority ..huh they have been living with us prior to independence and still it's shame to call them minorities ..mebbe their population when compared to Hindus is less but they don’t deserved to be called minorities.....What more can u ask ..our President himself is a Muslim... in our cricket team we have good number of muslims ..many of our politicians are muslims...We have had many muslim leaders, politicians in the past also...till now people never looked Muslim as a muslim ..they treat them as equals ..but this will not be the same...if the reservation comes into picture,..

This is how all our tax money is been swallowed and price hike on our regular commodities.......
