I don't think anyone other than Will Smith can do this better.

25 random things about me...
I was tagged by many to write 25 random things about me...well to get rid of my writer's block..I will give it a try
In this one I'm going to reveal the darker side of me as well..so read it with a broad mind..and don’t jump into any conclusions.......cos I'm good :)
1)I'm an Aquarian

2)I am an egoist, but I try to be as modest as possible. I don't expect to be treated as special one..and be a cynosure ... but if some one acts smart in front of me taking advantage of my modesty I get really bad.
3)I am a GOD fearing person. Every day I get up, the first thing I do is look at the photo of GOD. I do pray whenever I visit some temple. My prayer is very short. I do it in my mother tongue, " Swamy ma amma nannu nu eppudu santhosha pettali" and thats it there ends the prayer. If I have to wait longer I repeat the same thing.

5)I believe am a strong willed person. I don't like to give up on anything. I will fail but not give up. That is one reason that made me discover the long distance athlete in me. Readers, I was the 2nd best long distance runner of my college.

6)I involve myself in many activities. I play football & hockey, and did play both in my under grad and even now. I'm part of the cultural events organizing teams. I'm part of many interest groups like trading, networking, adventuring etc.
7) I'm very well connected with people over net. I use orkut, linkedin, facebook, twitter, blip, youtube, blogger, digg, interscope and bloglog.

8)I'm very shy when it comes to talking to girls. I was never lucky in having a girl friend

9)In all the testimonials I got... ppl say that I have a good sense of humor, so I believe that..

10)Currently I'm in Bangalore and I miss my bike, speakers....
11)I have this hidden desire of becoming an actor..don't mind even if it's a villain or a supporting actor..:)

12)By the time I turn 40 I would like to set up an empire...a conglomerate of companies..yes obviously not alone..with some of my bestest friends...will drag them in.. :)
13)I lost 6 lakhs in one trade last year...took sometime to recover from the shock...from then I hardly did any trading. A big lesson learnt the harder way.

14)If all went well I would have made 12 lakhs out of it. I had a plan to set up a water bottling plant along with my friend with an initial investment of 50 lakhs.

15)I can speak Telugu, Hindi, English very fluently. Understand Tamil and speak a little. Can speak a little of Arabic and French. Currently learning Kannada and Bengali.I did a course in Japanese
16)I'm always ready to give free fundaes to anyone. I know there are a lot of people out there who have been victimised by my unsolicited tips/suggestions/ideas/advice

17)I once said that I'm secular by heart. Let me tell this. I used to love the Namaz(Salath) read out when I was there in Saudi. And many times I used to recite along with it.

18)I have this weakness, which is getting worse. I can't explain things in crisp. I'm so used to writing the long globe answers that I end up writing too much for even the silliest of the questions.
19)Don't even dare to ask me the story of the movie I watched. I will narrate the whole screenplay for u giving u the actual feel of the movie. I can't help it. I can't even cut it short.

20)I don't like to drink tea, coffee, milk and any fizz.
21)My academic interests are Mathematics, Statistics, Economics(lately discovered) and Finance.

23)In Hollywood I find Kiera Knightley and Scarlett Johansson very beautiful, In Tollywood I like Charmy :D..just recently..

24)Of the books I read some books which I really liked were Iacocca and Wings of Fire
25)Some movies which I can watch again and again without getting bored are Life is beautiful, Shawshank Redemption, Pursuit of Happyness, Sarfarosh…

Huh!.. 25 is too small a number to write about me. I wrote them randomly and there is no logical flow of the points.

Slumdog Millionaire
Ok since this is the talk of the town, I don't want to miss out on the network traffic.
This is what I've got to say about this movie.
I'm no expert in analyzing movies, I like almost all movies as long as the print is good(damn the cam prints :D) and it is intellectually stimulating :D
I think Slumdog is a strategic mix of all selling points.
The core concepts of the movie are "rags to riches concept", "happy ending love concept and, "poverty, slums & child labor, winning the votes of human activists"
All of them individually have been USPs for various blockbuster movies. Danny Boyle has strategically fit them and scripted this successful movie which went on to be nominated for Oscars.

Thaa naanaa thana nanna naaa
I saw three really bad movies this night. And the worst part was that all of them were back to back!
12:00 am
1) Chandni Chowk to China..
How can actors like akshay accept to do such highly illogical movies. After having acted for so many years cant they imagine what the audience would undergo while watching this kind of movie.
The songs are really sad. There is no funny incident in the movie. Just cos Mithunda acted they tried to portray him as bigger hero. This movie should be rated as a B grade movie.
I know that bollywood and logic never go together so then decided to watch an english movie.

2:00 am
2)18 Year Old Virgin..
In simple words, It's about a girl who wanted to get laid by anyone in a party. It's supposed to be a comedy movie but there is no scene in the movie which is worth mentioning as a funny scene. This was another boring movie.
3:00 am
3) Keka (Tolly wood movie)
I wasnt feeling sleepy so wanted to check out this movie. Gave up on bollywood and Hollywood so selected this new Tollywood flick. This one was worse than the first 2. I felt so pathetic after watching this movie that I felt like throwing up

I've decided that atleast for the next one month I'll not watch any movie.
I made a mistake, I should have checked the reviews before watching the movies.
Now I'll continue watching Malgudi days, which I downloaded today afternoon. I think this one is hazaaaaaaaaaaaar times better than all those shitty movies I watched.

Out of place
I never thought I would come to Riyadh in my life, always dreamt about going to US. But my life is like that I never get whatever I dream.
Life here is so boring.
I’ll list down some good and bad things about this place which I felt during the last few days of stay.
Good
Weather: - Right now it’s cool
Roads are really good; the average speed is easily above 90, going at 120 is nothing great.
Get to see latest models of cars. The street I live, there are showrooms of all biggies; Lambhorghini, Porsche, Nissan and Renault etc.
Pakis and Indians are friends here, most of the taxiwallas are pakis and they are really helpful. Hindi works here as most of the people speak Urdu.
Petrol and Pepsi is very cheap.
Cars are very cheap. Almost all taxis are only Camry and Corolla, unlike in India where these are quite expensive.
Bad
Weather: - From next week the actual heat starts.
There are no theatres here.
Though the rules over here are strict, cell phones and laptop theft is very common
During the prayers almost all shops are closed and the worst time is between 6-8
As everyone knows the week here starts on Saturday, Thursday and Friday are weekends. Working on Sunday is so painful. Wednesday evenings are the best times.
New
I started learning Arabic. Now I can read and speak Arabic numbers.
Back in India never I used to go to kitchen, here once I come from office most of the time I spend in kitchen. Now I can make dal, egg scramble ,pulav (veg and non veg). The other day we tried making biryani that was the worst biryani I ever ate.
We get all Middle East TV channels and a few Indian channels. My favorite channel is Melody Hits. The song ‘ahla haga feeki’ by Mohammed Hamaki is my favorite song, and almost all Lebanese singers are really hot.
Yesterday I saw 5 movies at a stretch in one day.
Idiocracy – It’s not a great movie but can watch once.
Thank you for smoking – Nice movie
Stranger than fiction – Nice movie, good time pass
Bandidas – Penelope cruz and Salma Hayek, again not a great movie
Accepted – Funny movie, good time pass
One good thing is I’ve got around 100 movies with me, but rarely get time to watch them. Yesterday was the first time after a long time.
From tomorrow the week starts, huh its so boring life, one full week have to slog.
Waiting for Wednesday.
Till then…
Khuda hafiz..

My Blog's First Birthday.
It’s been almost a month I updated my blog.
Last week I saw this movie.. “Humko deewana kar gaye”…huh a better title would be “Humko paagal kar gaye” Our hero akshay goes to Canada to do some marketing, but in one song he does welding ; I don’t understand what these directors think about the audience.. and last Saturday I saw this movie “Pyare Mohan” ..one more fully faltoo movie…worst thing was I saw both the movies at PVR….:( not worth watching them at theatre….this coming saturday am going to watch “Ice age 2”…yea at PVR
I started my GMAT prep thanks to our HRD…almost 50% reserved seats…even if they increase seats my chances are low so I gave up….so I’ll stick to my global vision…….planning to take it in October….
That’s all for now…actually don’t have anything to say…just to wish my blog for its first birthday.
